A host of troubled and attention-seeking callers fill his nightly program with a variety of issues… political, social, and even personal vendettas. More relevant now than ever, this work about the world of 1980s call-in talk radio holds a mirror up to current social media culture and the psychological effects of ‘doomscrolling.’
