Description

Art on the Block NYC will be holding short-term residencies (3 weeks) in NYC storefronts over the course of 2025. As the artist-in-residence you will have the opportunity to transform the space into both your studio and a public viewing space. You will expected to be present full time 5 days each week (hours TBA). During that time you will not only have general visitors coming in to see your artwork and engage with you but will also facilitate scheduled programming for youth, families, and adults. These programs include art-making workshops, artist interviews, and more and will be co-developed by you and Art on the Block NYC team. You will be paid a $5000 stipend for your participation.
