FOODSTORIES IS CALLING ALL ARTISTS Award winning author, visual artist, and National Arts Strategies Fellow, Shanta Lee, is inviting you to submit your work for this next phase of her project. Over the past several months, Shanta Lee has been collecting stories from individuals across the U.S., and now it is time to invite you all to submit your work. Chosen art - across mediums of visual art, film shorts, animation, audio, or creative writing - will be featured on a 2 - year site that will be the online/digital exhibition. Theme: As long as you follow the rule of submitting anything that brings together food, memory, and storytelling in some way, go crazy with your imagination! Each artist can submit up to 5 pieces. Visit https://www.shantalee.com/artist-submissions for questions and to see the FAQ. Here are some details here about what we want: VISUAL SUBMISSIONS A visual piece. This can be a painting, a sketch, a hi-res photograph or anything visual that you will be able to provide a hi-res version of this image as long as it is your original work. FILM SHORTS, ANIMATION, OR AUDIO A film short, video, or animation. Make sure to provide a link that can be viewed publicly. This could be a cooking show, or a film short related to the topic. Audio.
