The AIR of Equity Artist-in-Residence Program is a year-long residency that merges artistic innovation with health equity advocacy, providing an immersive creative platform for artists to collaborate with St. Louis communities affected by health disparities. Hosted by the Community Health Commission of Missouri (CHCM), this program integrates storytelling, visual art, performance, and multimedia to amplify community voices, foster healing, and inspire action toward health justice. The selected artist will work closely with CHCM staff, community partners, and residents to develop community-centered projects that uplift lived experiences and align with CHCM’s mission of building a healthier, more equitable St. Louis region.
