Date: February 24th Time: 6:00–8:00 PM Attention all visual artists, makers, designers, photographers, and artisans! The Visual Artists Roundtable is a facilitated listening session created to center the voices of working artists across Region 8. This gathering is not a workshop or presentation, but a space for visual artists to speak openly about their experiences - including barriers to opportunity, professional needs, access to exhibitions or markets, and what support would be most meaningful moving forward. The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council will use this feedback to guide future programming, resource development, and advocacy efforts in alignment with the real needs of artists in our region. This evening roundtable will include light refreshments and guided discussion by facilitator and Region 8 creative Libby Gifford. Free to attend. Registration required. Space is limited! Register at the included link. *Feedback gathered through the Voices of Region 8 Roundtable Series will be used to inform the Arts Council’s strategic planning and future community initiatives. This series is supported in part by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
