Veteran art instructor Barbara Houser will lead a workshop using mixed media on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Union Museum of History and Art, 211 N. Main Street, Farmerville, LA. Fee of $35 will include all art materials. Participants will create an 8" x 10" painting using acrylics, along with other materials that will be available such as fabric, paper, net, ribbon, twine, and glitter.
